Anita Feldman began her career at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art, after a degree in art history at UCLA, and went on to London where she earned an MA at the Courtauld Institute of Art, specializing in Art in France Between the Wars, and in the public sculpture of Richard Serra. She went on to work for the international art logistics company Momart in London, and then at the Henry Moore Foundation, where she worked with the artist's studios, collections, sculpture gardens, and archives as Curator and then as Head of Collections and Exhibitions, for 18 years, creating exhibitions and publications worldwide in more than 28 countries and serving on the Moore Authentication Committee. Highlights include fully cataloguing Moore's textiles; publishing his work in plaster for the first time; overseeing the restoration of Moore's travertine Arch in Hyde Park; collaborations with the Musée Rodin; assisting with the establishment of a dedicated Moore gallery at Tate Britain; and exhibitions at the Kremlin, the Hermitage, the National Gallery of Art Washington DC, and throughout Japan, Brazil, China, Europe, the United States, and South America. Returning to her home city in 2014 as Deputy Director of Curatorial Affairs at the San Diego Museum of Art, Anita Feldman has created numerous projects with international contemporary artists as well as the current internationally touring exhibition O'Keeffe and Moore.
