Ann M. Jayne

关于作者

Born and raised in the small town of Okemah, Oklahoma, Ann M. Jayne, who now resides in the city of Edmond, Oklahoma, embraces the ability to entertain people through her writing. Ann began her love of writing in high school, relishing the opportunity to write research papers. She is the author of eight books, which includes one she was hired to ghostwrite about chair yoga for seniors. Whether Ann is telling a story in her books or on Facebook posts, particularly stories about her dogs and mishaps with traveling, known to her friends as "Jaynecations," she embraces the chance to make people laugh. Or cry. Raising awareness about the plight of dog overpopulation and the need to rescue/adopt dogs is a topic that Ann takes to heart. Other than writing, Ann is a wife, mother to two sons, three dogs (two are rescued), and one horse. Teaching yoga, photography, reading, working with dog rescues and transporting dogs to their new families or foster homes, involvement in her church, and agility training with one of her dogs are other ways Ann occupies her time. "Rescuing Used Coonhounds" is Ann's flagship book about rescuing her two Treeing Walker Coonhounds and being thrust into the world of dog rescue. Currently, Ann is working on her ninth book, another non-fiction book about stray dogs she has known or rescued. The particular inspiration to begin writing "Stray Dogs From God" came after Ann rescued a Belgian Malinois. "Stray Dogs From God" should be published in late 2024.
