I have been collecting vintage costume jewelry for twenty years now, a feat which is mind boggling! I have seen many changes in the collecting field over the years. One of the biggest is the collecting wave of the DeLizza and Elster jewelry that collectors call Juliana. The collecting world goes through phases where it actively seeks a specific designer or company, and then after a year or so, moves on to the next "must have" thing. Not so with D&E Juliana. The wave has been building for over 6 years, with no end in sight. And a good thing it is for me, since my newest book, DeLizza and Elster, The Juliana Jewelry Reference Book, is due to be published in November, 2009.
