Hello! I have been writing for most of my life and am the author of many stories rooted in myth, legend, and history. Some published books of mine include: * Fallingwater: The Building of Frank Lloyd Wright's Masterpiece - coauthored w/Marc Harshman * Brother Giovanni's Little Reward: How the Pretzel Was Born * No Star Nights * Golden Delicious: A Cinderella Apple Story * Outside the Window * To Keep the South Manitou Light * The Life of Saint Brigid * A History of West Virginia and several others expected to be published in the next year or so. My main focus has been on books for children, although I enjoy basing stories on interesting historical events that appeal to adults too. I've had poetry featured in many journals and anthologies. I also give writing workshops and author presentations throughout the country. I am proud to call West Virginia home. I live in Bridgeport, WV with my husband Kim. My son lives close by in Bridgeport with his wife and daughter, and my daughter lives in Boston with her two sons.
