Anna Hájková is a Reader of modern European continental history at the University of Warwick, UK. She is one of the founding directors of the Warwick Centre for Global Jewish Studies. Her research focuses on Jewish history of the Holocaust. The Last Ghetto: An Everyday History of Theresienstadt is her first monograph. She likes to bake bread, cakes, and cookies, make kimchi, and when she is frustrated, eat it by the bowl.
