Anne Marie Segal

Anne Marie Segal, founder and CEO of Segal Coaching LLC, partners with board candidates, executives and emerging leaders to expand their impact and advance their career trajectories. She has helped hundreds of job seekers prepare for interviews. As an executive coach and professional writer since 2015, Anne Marie works with individual clients at key leadership transition points and on long-term personal branding and career development. Many of her clients have partnered with Anne Marie over multiple years and sought support through multiple job changes and/or promotions. Since 2022, she has also led cohorts and workshops that offer opportunities for coaching, facilitated discussions and professional networking. Anne Marie’s coaching style leverages her more than 25 years of work experience, including 15 years as a practicing attorney. She has served as Deputy General Counsel to a private equity and hedge fund adviser and as a corporate associate at a prominent global law firm, among other roles. Her client base hails from all major industries, six continents and a range of U.S. and multinational organizations, including multinational corporations, mid-sized private companies, various private equity and venture capital firms, professional service firms, technology and other start-ups, government agencies and non-profit organizations. While serving for two years as Facilitator of the Hispanic National Bar Association and HNBA VIA Fund’s PODER25 General Counsel talent pipeline, Anne Marie conceived, planned and hosted sessions featuring 40+ prominent speakers and coached 60+ in-house counsel participants on career progression (including a range of executives and emerging leaders of Fortune 500 and other public and private companies). She has also presented to the United Nations (ICTY/MICT), American Bar Association, Association of Corporate Counsel, Illinois State Bar Association, National Resume Writers Association, University of Chicago and numerous corporate, non-profit, industry, university and podcast audiences. Anne Marie is a frequent public speaker and has been quoted on various media. She holds a J.D. from NYU School of Law, an M.A. in Art History from The University of Chicago and a B.A. in Fine Arts/Photography from Loyola University of Chicago. She is also a Professional Certified Coach with the International Coaching Federation. Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Anne Marie currently lives in Connecticut.
