I grew up in a house filled with books. My grandmother was in the book business many years ago. My mother was an editor and writer for more than 50 years. My sister is an award-winning book designer and my son is a writer/illustrator. It's a family thing. At the moment, my son and I are working on several new projects. We have launched a YouTube channel and are creating picture books for young children and a series of comic books for middle grade readers. I hope you enjoy Glad Monster, Sad Monster, a collaboration with Caldecott Award winning illustrator Ed Emberley. This colorful monster book, complete with tear out and storable masks has been translated into French and Spanish and is used world-wide to help children identify and cope with their feelings. It's well-loved by parents and teachers alike. To Market, To Market illustrated by Janet Stevens is a classic in the classroom and a favorite with children. My newest book, Tangled is published by Simon & Schuster, A Paula Wiseman Book and illustrated by Eric Comstock. The book is about some playful little shapes that get tangled up in a jungle gym and the community effort to free them. It's a fun read-aloud with a mathematics theme for home and school.
