Anne Polli

关于作者

Born and raised in Northern California, award-winning author, Anne Polli, spent over thirty years in and around the horse industry. After studying Animal Science at UC Davis, she bred Thoroughbred horses for the show ring. However, most of those years were spent traveling to hunter/jumper shows in California, Nevada, Arizona and Colorado as part of the show staff. No matter where life took her, she never made the trip without a notebook or journal to feed her fire to write. She particularly enjoys writing strong women characters, or those that manage to find strength within where they believed there was none. She also enjoys the challenge of tackling moral or ethical dilemmas in such a way that the reader draws their own conclusions rather than be led to a particular way of thought. Recently, she partnered with her daughter, Ryan, a graphic designer, to produce the children's book, Mason the Magnificent. It champions the idea of being happy with yourself exactly as you are and seeing the good in all things. Anne lives in rural Northern California with her husband and a rescued fox red Lab and tough-as-nails cat. She is thankful for the continued support and encouragement of her family.
