Annie Schrank worked for thirty-five years as a clothing designer in New York and Los Angeles. Throughout, she wrote occasional free-lance magazine articles and supplied accompanying photographs, allowing her curiosity to take her from subjects as diverse as explorer interviews to the art of baby massage, and mostly adventure travel all over the world. Currently she lives in Celebration, Florida and works as a costume photographer and digital costume archivist for Disney World. Longing for Africa: Journeys Inspired by the Life of Jane Goodall. Part One: Ethiopia, a memoir, her first published full-length book, has just been released It’s an adventure story of her early twenties in Ethiopia. Part Two: Kenya will be released later this year. Her great love all her life has been Africa and her greatest heroine, Jane Goodall. She's been writing since she was eleven, creating stories of junior high school love life. She's looking forward to life on the Gulf Coast with more time for writing and swimming and walking the beach.
