Hello Readers, I am a native of Troy, NY and I am an avid reader. I graduated from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany with a Bachelor's Degree in Math and Statistics and a minor in Business. I did my graduate work at SUNY Empire State College in Veteran Studies. I currently work a day job at the Department of Veterans Affairs in the Network Contracting Office. Writing might not be the obvious choice for a math major. However, I have been writing as an amateur all of my life. In college, I was a member of a writing community. We all wrote short stories and poetry and bounced ideas off of one another. It was a glorious period in my life until the site crashed and I lost a great deal of my work. After this, I took a writing hiatus. I have been back to writing for almost a decade now. I don't like to categorize myself into any specific genre. My reading preference ranges from comic books and graphic novels to John Grisham, Dean Koontz, Michael Crichton, Terry Goodkind, Lee Child, Robert Louis Stevenson, Shakespeare, and many others. It is the same with my writing. I write what I feel and my inspiration comes from some quite unexpected places. My goal is to publish books to excite my readers, promote thought, and encourage creativity. My hope is that those who read my books will find the ideas familiar yet novel (pun intended). Having just finished my fourth novel, I can say that my readers can count on relatable characters that will make them laugh, make them cry, and at times make them angry. I appreciate the support I've received thus far in my journey. While getting rich off of my writing would be an amazing thing, it is not a catalyst behind my writing. I revel in creativity. As long as there are readers in the world, I will be a writer. Cheers!
