Anthony J. Pucci

Anthony J. Pucci taught English for forty-three years. Night of Joy, Night of Sorrow is his ninth Michael Bishop Mystery. Previous titles include: Outline for Murder (2015), Schooled in Deception (2016), A Question of Judgment (2017), Murder on the Marginal Way (2018), Rooted in Evil (2019), Winning Ticket (2020), Where There Is Darkness (2021), and The Uninvited (2023). He is also co-author of Twin Tiers Legends: Remembering Joel Stephens and Coach D (2022), the inspirational story of two extraordinary men who turned adversity into an opportunity to teach others what is most important in life. In addition to writing, he enjoys reading, taking long walks, spending time on the New England coast, keeping up with family and friends, and following sports, the stock market, and politics. A native of Massachusetts, he resides with his wife in a small town in Upstate New York.
