Chef Antwon Brinson influences extends from the Caribbean to the legendary Greenbrier Resort. His work has been featured in various publications, including Virginia Business, CBS, NBC, and Country and Wine Magazine, and he was also a featured Chef on the HBO hit cooking show The Big Brunch, to name a few. Mr. Brinson is also the author of a case study published by SAGE Publication, which recognized his work as an editor's choice for high-impact social entrepreneurship and internationally recognized for his Cast Iron for Dummies book, published by Wiley Publishing. He is also the founder of the Positive Culture Festival, which highlights local and international cuisine. Antwon Brinson has been invited to speak with thought leaders and organizations from around the world. His passion for building sustainable pathways and creating systemic change has led to conversations with the University of Virginia, Social Entrepreneurship, Rouxbe, American Culinary Federation, and Keynote speaking opportunities with vocational and high schools around Virginia. His love for learning about new cultures and cuisines has taken him on a journey around the world, living in 8 different counties and many cities across the United States. Aside from living his passion every day, he believes in investing in his community as much as possible. Mr. Brinson serves as a committee and board member for Virginia Career Works, Piedmont Region. He also serves as chair of the grants committee and board member with the Charlottesville Area Community Foundation. Antwon is an avid coach and mentor working with high school students, entrepreneurs, and previously incarcerated citizens. He also works with local organizations such as Community Investment Collaborative, mentoring food service start-ups in the food and beverage space.
