Anuja Mohla

Anuja Mohla, DO is a physician who has turned into an award winning author with her first book “Ek Naya Din”. Born and brought up in New Delhi (India), Anuja immigrated to America as a teenager. Anuja realized the challenge her generation faces in teaching children about their heritage. Anuja found her passion for writing through her desire to empower her children to be multilingual. Having recognized that working parents have limited time, Anuja aspires to help young parents teach their native language to the next generation. In her spare time, she loves to cook and build on her love for Bollywood via movies, music, and dance. Anuja has recently published her next book series on Indian festivals. Her most recent book, India: The Land of Festivals, is a unique monthly guide of over 25 Indian festivals across 6 major religions celebrated in India.
