Is a Scottish writer, illustrator, volunteer and early childhood practitioner. She is best known for her children's books featuring animals, such as Dwyte the Dove. Dwyte’s Mischievous Adventure was her first published work in 2023. Born into a large family, A.D.Gray was moved around frequently and was educated in attendance in multiple local council establishments, including a school in France. She met and grew up with many other children. She had numerous pets in her early years, a pet border collie dog, lambs and sheep, surrounded by nature living on a farm in France at 6 years old and moving back to live in Scotland at age 8 in the coastal seaside town of Saltcoats, developing a love of landscape, which she closely observed and painted in acrylic style. In her thirties, A.D.Gray self-published the children's book series through Amazon; Dwyte the Dove Following this, A.D.Gray began writing and illustrating children's books full-time.
