Ashley Farmer

Ashley Farmer is the author of Dear Damage (Sarabande, 2022), The Women (Civil Coping Mechanisms, 2016), The Farmacist (Jellyfish Highway Press, 2015), Beside Myself (PANK/Tiny Hardcore Press, 2014), and the chapbook Farm Town (Rust Belt Bindery, 2012). Her work has been published in or is forthcoming from places like The Progressive, Santa Monica Review, Buzzfeed, Flaunt, Nerve, Potomac Review, Gigantic, Los Angeles Review, Salt Hill Journal, DIAGRAM, and elsewhere. A recipient of Ninth Letter’s Literary Award in Creative Nonfiction, the Los Angeles Review’s Short Fiction Award, a Best American Essays notable distinction, and fellowships from Syracuse University and the Baltic Writing Residency, Ashley lives in Salt Lake City, UT with the writer Ryan Ridge.
