Ashley McKenna is a licensed professional clinical counselor with fifteen years of clinical experience and is certified through the National Board of Certified Counselors. During her career, she has held many positions, including mental health therapist, clinical supervisor, and clinical director of client services. She is the owner of Wild Magnolia Wellness, LLC, a wellness-based therapy practice. Her practice focuses on addiction and recovery, depression, grief and loss, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness. She graduated from Southwestern Western College in Santa Fe, New Mexico, in 2006 with a master’s in counseling. Ashley currently lives and works in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Working with clients from a strength-based and client-centered approach is a core clinical focus in helping her clients work through the symptoms of their diagnoses. Throughout her years as a therapist, she has helped clients achieve sobriety, integrate prior trauma, and build increased hope for the overall wellness of their lives. She is committed to helping clients find truth and meaning in their lives while creating an environment that they love. Providing supervision and ethical guidance to clinicians entering the field of mental health has been an important part of her career. She supports therapists in maintaining a healthy and successful career and reducing burnout in the field. Ashley loves the outdoors and connecting with the earth. She spends her downtime hiking, rafting, and skiing with her family. She is an advocate for climate justice and is working to stop the harmful effects of climate change and reduce plastic use within her local community
