Ashley Niedringhaus

Ashley Niedringhaus is an American lifestyle and travel journalist and author of Frommer's Thailand (March 5, 2019). Before moving to abroad, Ashley called New York City home where she held staff roles at various national women's magazines, including Redbook and Real Simple. She has contributed to several Thailand guides and was the editor of the first-ever Michelin Guide Bangkok, a gastronomic job that taught her to love Thai chilis. Her feature articles on travel, food, and culture have appeared in a wide range of international publications, including global editions of Travel+Leisure and Conde Nast Traveler. Ashley lives in New York City with her husband and daughter.
