Hello! I'm a children's author, a science illustrator, and an aspiring naturalist obsessed with slugs, bugs, and trees, among other things. I want my books to inspire children to discover their own enthusiasm for the world around us. My first picture book started when my youngest was a toddler. We'd read a few hundred picture books together, and one day, he asked me a question about eggs. I decided to answer it with a picture book. Then I wrote another book. And then several more after that. Now I'm the author of seven picture books and four coloring books, with more books on the way soon!
