August E. Allen is a multi award-winning author whose children's book "I'm THAT Cat" earned the Literary Titan Gold Book Award. Another book by Allen, titled "I Love Dandelions" (Original Edition), was awarded second place winner  (Children - Nature Books) in the 2023 PenCraft Book Awards for literary excellence. "I Love Dandelions" also earned the Silver Medal for Best Children's Book (ages 3-7) in the Spring 2023 Readers' Choice Book Awards. As an ardent environmentalist, lover of nature and wildlife, with great concern for our planet and co-inhabitants thereof, August endeavors to raise awareness for the environment through art.
