Austyn Shull

The best way to describe my writing as a whole… is that I have two personalities that live on two universes: my Sci-Fi worlds and my horrific worlds. In my Sci-Fi worlds, or magical, I create worlds that aren’t unlike our own, until events begin to happen, or worlds are revealed hidden beneath perceived reality. While on the other universe, “Austyn R Shull” (https://www.amazon.com/author/austynshull) scribes violent and immature events in the series "Blink Psychopath." Believe it or not, the vampire stories fit into the first universe… I try to keep the Austyn Shull written stories at a PG 13 level, or at least something I can share with family and not be asked to leave. However… since the two universes tend to blur, the second-best way to describe my writing… is that I love to create worlds and create connections through worlds that were previously written to stand solo. When I first started writing stories, I would write tiny micro stories that weren’t much more than summaries with an entertaining Twilight Zone feel (the "One Dimension Over" stories). Then I began the ME letter (which starts the "Unfathomable Existence" book), where I combined several ideas that I had that were going to be micro stories and mashed them into one weird story. I started this with the goal to have something unique to give my mom and grandma on Mother’s Day. They both loved it, and that was the first LONG story I wrote. I've since only written longer form stories; I just can't cease an idea after one page anymore. I always feel that I must combine the idea with another and let the story play out over multiple pages, rather than just jump start one's imagination. Back to the dual personas, I, and Austyn R Shull, are the main minds behind the shutupsystems.com projects... R and A work together to create insanity inside these immature cartoons, from a murderous kitty, to a circus invaded by aliens... But I share blame on these projects with Mat Johnson, so don't hate me for every word. I hope this hastily written bio helps convince you to read my books. I like superheroes and the supernatural, and I think all my books show that love. With all my projects, I write the way I like to write. If the story is enjoyable for me, then I'm sure it will entertain others. If not, my mistake... (I'd also like to note that these pictures are from work's Halloween month... not normal attire.)
