Aziza Kibibi

关于作者

When she was eight years old, Aziza Kibibi was molested by her biological father, award winning video director Aswad Ayinde. By the time she was twelve he deemed her his sex slave, and at fifteen she became pregnant with her first child for him. Over the years Aziza bore four children for her father; two of whom have genetic disorders. After seventeen years of physical, emotional, mental and sexual abuse, she finally found liberation from the life she knew. Now a single parent raising her children on her own while running her catering and baking business, Aziza Kibibi is a testament of strength, endurance, triumph and the power of God. Aziza has written her books Unashamed: A life tainted by incest, molestation and violence Vol 1 and Unashamed: A life tainted…Vol 2. As an author, Aziza educates and inspires, while raising awareness on issues that affect our community. After lending her voice to a news article for NJ.com, Aziza’s story caught the attention of renowned journalist and television personality, Katie Couric, who featured her on her daytime talk show Katie! Through this platform, Aziza further encouraged survivors that life after abuse can be positive, fulfilling and full of success. Aziza has been invited to speak at churches, schools, colleges and radio stations where she uses her testament to inspire and motivate her audience. She is the host of her radio talk show “A to Ziza” on 91.7 FM Gems Radio, and the founder of Precious Little Ladies, a social progression organization that seeks to combat child molestation and abuse by strengthening the bond between mother and daughter. Aziza's blog, “Unashamed An Open Book”, offers insight and advice on coping with adversity. While opening up to the public about her experiences publishing her book, issues pertaining to all things feminine, relationships, her love for her Creator and raising her children who are also her brother and sisters; Aziza’s vibrant outlook on life is contagious and her experience on how to navigate it is unparalleled. Through her motto “If I can do it; you can do it too”, Aziza Kibibi uses herself as a living example that we all possess the strength to not only survive anything, but triumph over everything.
