B. G. Preston

Barry Sanders, writing as B G Preston, lives in Ohio and is enjoying the relaxing retired lifestyle which now includes a bit of writing along with active traveling and some goofing around. As a former corporate guy, he enjoys a good mix of creativity with analytic thinking. His writing and reading preferences lean toward "realistic fiction" which could range from adventure to science-fiction to historical fiction... as long as the plot, locations and characters are believable. B G Preston's most recent fiction endeavor was "Camino Passages", a fictional adventure that takes place on the popular Camino de Santiago in Spain. In non-fictiion, the author has published several "Starting-Point guides." These guides cover nearly twenty mid-size cities such as Bordeaux, Strasbourg, and Lyon France, plus Gothenburg in Sweden and Lucerne, Switzerland. Now, in 2024, this set of guides continues to grow along with the important element of keeping the first books in the series updated and relevant. These guides are purposefully simple and focused on a small area. The "Starting-Point Guides" series is written with the intention of visiting one area and using it as a base camp while then venturing out on day trips to local towns, wineries, castles, and villages.
