Barbara Diggs

Barbara Diggs has wanted to be a writer ever since she realized that books make time traveling, shape-shifting and the experiences of others real. After being side tracked by a career in corporate law, she now writes history books for children with the hope that her readers will learn that the past is not dead, but continues to actively shape our present and future. Barbara is a Washington, DC native and graduate of Wesleyan University and Stanford Law School. When she’s not writing for kids, she slings words for businesses and law firms, and tries to build the truest fictional worlds possible. She is currently at work on another children’s history book about Civil Rights Era protests.
