Barbara Nagle

I was born and raised in Massachusetts. I have three children, a granddaughter and lots of pets. I won Miss Franklin when I was two. I love to collect rocks and gems. I love music and play the piano, guitar, I try to play the didgeridoo and the Native American flute just for fun. I make my own alien creatures with clay and I cook them in a kiln and sell them. I also like to paint dragon eyes. Sometimes you might find my daughter and me at the local art festival with our crafts. I illustrated my own book, Duck and Spider but the other books were illustrated by inmates, such as Dragon Art, Dinner at Dragon's House, The Flower That Wanted To Dance, The Kings Journey, and The Great Cooking Contest. Henry and Sara was illustrated by my daughter Lisa Jean and Secret Friends by my daughter Destiny. I grew up with a dad that told me stories he made up about all kinds of animal adventures. They were the best! From him I got the love of telling stories to my own children and decided to share them with everyone else. I am in the process of writing more stories, one is coming out soon about the Covid-19 true stores of incarcerated people and how it affected them.
