Barbara Woolsey

Barbara Woolsey is a journalist and author published by Reuters, BBC, National Geographic, Lonely Planet, The Guardian, and others. Born and raised on the Canadian prairies to a Filipino mother and Irish-Scottish father, a multicultural upbringing has fuelled Barbara's life's passion for storytelling across borders. Her career started in Thailand as a reporter for the Bangkok Post and TV host for True Visions. Since then, she’s voyaged across five continents and over 50 countries by plane, train and motorbike and contributed to newspapers, magazines, and websites around the world. She lives in Berlin, Germany.
