Barrie Atkin

Barrie loves sharing her knowledge and experience. At heart, she is a teacher. She is also a New England sports fan, and a long-time consultant to mission-driven organizations. As president of Atkin Associates LLC, she has written dozens of business plans for start-up organizations in publishing, sports, healthcare, and technology, and provided marketing, strategy and fundraising insights and solutions to nonprofit organizations and corporations. Some of her better-known clients: ESPN, The Nature Conservancy, Consumer Reports, and the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA). In 2017, Barrie wrote "Marketing Tools for Any Senior Center" published by the National Council on Aging (NCOA) and the Massachusetts Councils on Aging (MCOA). Barrie is currently working on new books in fundraising, strategic planning, marketing and branding, and, of course, football. She lives north of Boston with her wife and their adorable two dogs.
