Barry M. Putt Jr.

Barry M. Putt, Jr. is the author of the nonfiction book "Alice: Life Behind the Counter in Mel’s Greasy Spoon (A Guide to the Feature Film, the TV Series, and More)" and the children's picture book "A Nutty Tale." As an audio dramatist, he has written the script for more than 50 productions including "The Holly Tree Inn: A Radio Dramatization" and "Richard Wade, U.S. Marshal." He wrote the script for the VR miniseries "Maren's Rock." His latest book, "Stories Told through Sound: The Craft of Writing Audio Dramas for Podcasts, Streaming, and Radio" was published in 2023. That will be followed by "The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew on Film, TV, and Stage" in 2026.
