Baruch Sterman

Baruch Sterman received his doctorate in Physics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, where he invented a laser used for both medical and industrial purposes. For the past twenty years, he has been a leading technologist, entrepreneur and executive in the high-tech sector, specializing in the fields of telecommunications and computer security. He holds numerous patents in optics, voice technology, and computer security. Baruch is co-founder of the Ptil Tekhelet Association, which has succeeded in restoring the ancient biblical blue dye, and is devoted to promoting educational programs and awareness of the topic. Today, hundreds of thousands of Jews around the globe wear authentic biblical blue fringes produced by Ptil Tekhelet. The Rarest Blue was coauthored by his wife, Judy Taubes Sterman.
