Beatrice James

Beatrice James is a qualified teacher who lives in the county of Kent, The Garden of England. She has experience of SEN teaching at both primary and secondary levels and loves teaching Maths. Beatrice has always been interested in the English language and writing, having enjoyed copious amounts of research and essay-writing as part of her degree in Spanish and German at University. Since then, she has followed and developed her passion for writing, by undertaking writing courses in different genres, including Romance and Historical novels, and has been working on her first historical romance. Beatrice has three children and two grandchildren which have been both a blessing and huge learning experience. Her first book, 'The Lonely Dinosaur', was a passion project for her grandchildren and the idea was conjured up in her head each time she travelled to visit a friend. Beatrice is convinced that getting out into the country brings out her creative streak. She loves baking, running half-marathons, watching US political dramas and murder mysteries, and reading autobiographies.
