Benjamin Dane is an actor/producer/entrepreneur/artist who applies his creative pursuits in art, entertainment, marketing and teaching. His background includes design, illustration, art direction and film. At 20, he became Creative Director for a large retail store, leading to an Lead Art Director position for Fitz & Floyd. After an award-winning branding career with three design firms, Benjamin opened his own branding agency. As an actor/producer on multiple projects, entertainment is a major part of his career. He started in community theater with roles in "The Promise,” "The Silver Chair,” "Peanut Butter and Tofu on Jewish Rye," "Eight Days that Changed the World,” and multiple others. Dane executive produced the feature, “Beyond the Farthest Star,” with Andrew Librizzi. The film experienced a 30-city theatrical distribution and secured a Sony digital and DVD retail release. Benjamin was responsible for negotiating a painting from the film by celebrated Thomas Kinkade Company and a HarperCollins novelization with writers Bodie & Brock Thoene. Early film acting roles include “JFK,” “Echoes of Innocence,” “The Dark Prince,” “I Am Gabriel,” and “Kill or be Killed.” Recent lead acting projects include the theatrical comedy, “First Lady,” with Nancy Stafford and Corbin Bernsen and the festival film award-winner, “Concrete Dreams.” In addition, he’s developing a podcast and the reality series, “A*Part*MENTAL.” Honors include Best Supporting Actor for “Promises,” “Concrete Dreams,” producing honors for “Holding On,” and others. Dane is currently producing the epic series, STRUCK. It discovers the parallel lives of true-life Ark explorer, Dr. John Morris, and the biblical Noah, played by Benjamin.
