Benjamin Paul Lyons

I’m an 18-year-old Creole & Indigenous American as well as a cellist and aspiring conductor, passionate about mastering the art of orchestral leadership. My journey is fueled by a deep love for classical music, the wisdom of great maestros, and the inspiration I find in poetry and Tupac’s profound lyricism. I’m constantly exploring the intersection of art and philosophy, shaping my unique approach to music and leadership. Alongside my dedication to music, I have a strong interest in astronomy, blending my artistic vision with scientific curiosity to expand my understanding of the world. My goal is to become a renowned conductor, using music to inspire and connect with people on a profound level. For me, conducting is more than leading an orchestra—it’s about storytelling, creating resonance, and uplifting both musicians and audiences.
