Benjamin North Spencer

Benjamin North Spencer attended the University of Iowa Writers Workshop for poetry, and later received a writing degree from the Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics at Naropa University. He was the editor of the literary magazine Cadillac Cicatrix (folded) and has been published widely in print and digital outlets and collections. His novel, Honey Rider (2013), was originally published on Tumblr as a digital mystery. His new book, The New Wines of Mount Etna – An Insider's Guide to the History and Rebirth of a Wine Region (2020) takes an in-depth look at winemaking on Europe's largest active volcano. He lives in Sicily, Italy.
