Bernd S. Koehling

Bernd S. Köhling has been bitten by the Mercedes classic car bug since the early 1970s, when he restored a pre-war 170Cabriolet B. Since then, he has owned many Mercedes vehicles, including a 220S, 300d Adenauer, 200D, 250SE, 280SE Coupe 3.5, 300SEL, 350SL, 280E, 450SE and SLK230. As a result, he has been able to acquire a relatively high level of expertise, which he shares with his readers. Daimler-Benz has always been one of his favourite car manufacturers and he has driven almost every Mercedes produced since the 1950s. Bernd's second favourite is British cars, especially Jaguars and Alvis. Bernd has written over 25 books and e-books on the subject of Mercedes, covering almost everything from the 1930 Mercedes 770 Grosser Mercedes to the 2012 SL R231.
