Bill Duncan

BILL DUNCAN lives with his partner, Australian crime writer Catherine Lee, in the coastal city of Newcastle, Australia and defines a great day as one spent plotting how to get away with murder and drinking coffee. Always coffee. He was born in a small town just north of Dallas, Texas before the family immigrated to Australia when he was 7 years old. While he studied Architecture at university, his father wrote a six-book mystery series featuring Rafferty, a Dallas P.I. In 2017, after 20 years working in the design and construction industry, Bill obtained a rights reversion for the Rafferty books and launched them in ebook format for the first time. He continues to write new Rafferty stories and the growing series has become a hit with over 300,000 readers around the world. He has no dogs or cats, but two adult children he shamelessly adores, and a vinyl record collection with an unhealthy proportion of 1980’s releases. Bill is currently working on a new FBI thriller series set in the US.
