Bill Wade is a lifelong resident of Osage County, Oklahoma and an avid explorer, historian and treasure hunter. Growing up in the rugged hills and valleys of Osage County, Bill developed a deep fascination with the region's rich history, especially the stories of outlaws, hidden treasures, and the intriguing traces left behind by Spanish explorers centuries ago. Achieving the rank of Eagle Scout in his youth, Bill has spent most of his adult life working in the oilfields of Osage County. But his true passion lies in researching local lore and combing the Oklahoma backwoods for historical artifacts and legendary caches whenever he gets the chance. Over several decades, Bill has accumulated a trove of treasure hunting stories through his own experiences and from old-timers eager to pass on tall tales of lost loot. Unable to keep these colorful stories to himself any longer, Bill was inspired to compile and share them with a wider audience.
