Bob Peterson

Bob Peterson has been a substitute teacher in public and charter schools for over seven years. Bob is certified by STEDI to be a substitute teacher. He has taught in elementary, middle and high school classrooms, as well as Special Education classrooms. He is a retired AV system designer and former Probation Officer living in Florida where he enjoys substitute teaching. His first “substitute teaching” position in St. Lucie County was at a local charter school. Little did he know, having no experience as a real teacher that he would be the permanent/temporary 7th-grade Physical Science teacher. His tenure as a teacher was supposed to be for a couple of weeks but lasted for the first semester. It was a baptism under fire. As a substitute teacher he values the opportunity to see the kids as they grow and mature from year to year and feels this is very rewarding.
