Bob Priest-Heck

Bob Priest-Heck is known as a visionary leader of people and events. He has always worked at the forefront of innovation in the events industry, with extensive experience across business sectors, technologies, and geographies. He is respected for his progressive efforts in technology, advocacy, sustainability, and safety. Bob joined Freeman in 2011 and in 2018 became the first nonfamily member to serve as Freeman CEO. Bob retired from Freeman in 2024 but continues to serve on its board of directors as well as on other boards. As a champion of transformation, he is optimistic about the future of the events industry and hopes this book will encourage young people to consider a career in events as a way to provoke and lead positive change. Bob and his wife enjoy living in the San Francisco area. They are proud of their three amazing daughters.
