Bobbie L. Wagner, an Asian American author and seasoned business professional, was born in Vung Tau, Vietnam, in 1967 amidst the Vietnam War. Adopted by Bob Wagner and Marie Louise Thi, Bobbie moved to the United States with her family in 1975. Learning Vietnamese at home allowed her to retain her cultural roots while she adapted to her new life in America. She learned English at age eight and later attended the University of Texas at Arlington, where she earned a degree in business. Bobbie has held significant roles in technology organizations focused on advancing America’s public safety communications systems throughout her career. Her professional path has been marked by a dedication to improving essential services for communities, but she has always aspired to become a writer. In her debut historical fiction novel, Bobbie celebrates the contributions of women during World War II and the Cold War, bringing to light the often-overlooked roles they played in shaping America as a global power. Her writing aims to inspire young women to dream boldly and embrace history's rich lessons. Bobbie’s work is a tribute to the enduring impact of women and a call to future generations to reach for their ambitions.
