Brad Kessler is the author most recently of North: A Novel which was a finalist for the Dayton Literary Peace Prize and the Vermont Book Award. He is a critically acclaimed novelist, farmer and winner of the Rome Prize and a Whiting Writer’s Award. His other books include the novel Birds in Fall and the literary non-fiction Goat Song: A Seasonal Life, A Short History of Herding, and the Art of Making Cheese. His work has appeared in many publications including the New York Times Magazine, The Kenyon Review, The New Yorker, and Lit Hub. He teaches in the MFA Program at Antioch University.
