Brad Dickerson, M.D., is the Director of the Massachusetts General Hospital Frontotemporal Disorders Unit and Neuroimaging Lab in Boston, and Associate Professor of Neurology at Harvard Medical School. Dr. Dickerson runs a busy weekly clinic caring for patients with various forms of cognitive impairment and dementia, as well as providing training for clinical and research fellows. His research employs structural and functional neuroimaging techniques to understand the neurobiology of Alzheimer's disease, Primary Progressive Aphasia, Frontotemporal Dementia, and other dementias. He also investigates the neural substrates of changes in memory, affect, and other abilities in healthy young adults and in normal aging. He has published more than 85 articles in peer-reviewed scientific journals as well as many book chapters. He has won a number of awards, including the prestigious American Academy of Neurology Norman Geschwind Award in Behavioral Neurology.
