Brady Ellis

THE STORY OF BRADY ELLIS: A while back, Writer Jim Ellis was having a beer (or three) with his buddy, Radio Host Jim Brady, when Brady turned and said, "I'm thinking about writing a book." OK, Ellis thought, Brady has 40 plus years in the radio biz—easy to figure he had enough material for a memoir. He's an above average storyteller, so he, just trying to encourage his friend, heard himself say, "Sure, Brady, I've got some free time." (The part of my head working on my own writing projects was screaming 'Have you Lost Yo' mind!?'--Ellis) Then, Brady rolled the grenade into the room. Not a memoir, but a murder mystery based on his days in radio. So the way it works, Brady supplies characters and situations, while the novelist/historian Ellis supplies a little historical detail and does most of the #@&* typing. We haven’t killed each other yet… stay tuned. Jim Brady is a veteran of over 40 years in Radio and has been a popular host throughout the US and Canada. He is currently retired and lives in Toledo, OH. Jim Ellis is the Author of Double Blind and The Ghost of Boris Riley, and a former columnist for the Toledo Free Press. He currently lives in Toledo.
