Brenda Flynn is an accomplished writer as well as artist, having sold many of her mosaics to both American and European investors. She has co-authored books of poetry, illustrated children's books, written two currently unpublished novels and designed several books, including "24 Hours in the Life of Ocala," "Orlo Vista: A History," and "The Life of Bags." Flynn has written several free-lance feature stories for magazines and newspapers, and had photographs published in "The Sun." She was involved with a public art project for "Horse Fever" in Ocala, Florida, and her work is permanently installed at the Appleton Museum of Art. Having grown up with a construction background, Flynn built many stone structures, from outdoor kitchens to stone fencing and grottos.
