Brenda Lee Ranta

Since the age of seven, Brenda-Lee Ranta has used prose as a means of journaling her life experiences. At the age of 58 years old, Creative Talents Unleashed published her first book, “Myriad of Perceptions,” to be followed by “Allegories – A Thirst for Connection.” Both prose collections were awarded five-star reviews from Readers Favorite. Since 2016, Ranta has contributed to nine poetry Anthologies published by Creative Talents Unleashed. In 2017, she was the Creative Director for the Anthology, “I Have a Name,” a compilation of poetry by poets around the world, on the subject of silent disorders which are prevalent in present day society. She was also the Creative Director in 2018, for the Anthology, "Essential Existentialism ~ the meaning of life," with Creative Talents Unleashed. It is a compilation of prose from global poets about the philosophical meaning of human existence. "A Soul Passenger - When Love Collides," is Ms. Ranta's first novel, a compelling book based on autobiographical events to what she refers as "her mystical life." She invites readers to share her journey, filled with turbulence, struggle and ending with profound happiness through abiding love. She was received two "five star reviews" from Reader's Favorite for her first novel. In 2017, Ms. Ranta was honored to be nominated for the 'Pushcart Prize,' by Creative Talents Unleashed. In October 2018, Ms. Ranta's fourth book, "Heart Sounds ~ Murmurings," was released by Creative Talents Unleashed, based on her collection of daily writing, epiphanies and prose pieces. In 2019, Ms. Ranta was nominated for "Best of the Net," by Ariel Chart, an online Literary Magazine. March 2021 debuts Ranta's newest release, "Heirline Fractures." This serious compilation of prose, is a deep, honest account of a childhood gone wrong with it's many ramifications, in a journey to healing herself. Ms. Ranta resides in Timmins, Ontario, Canada, sharing with her life with her soul mate, who is also a published poet/musician and lyricist.
