Hi I’m Dr. Brenda Montecalvo, and I am a wife, mom, speaker, author and vision coach. I’m enthusiastically transforming lives by teaching visual secrets to people of all ages so they can See More for BETTER VISION, then Be & Do More for a BETTER LIFE, and have time to Give More , thus creating a BETTER WORLD. At age 9, I adjusted my first pair of glasses for a patient in my Mom’s optometric practice. That was the beginning of a lifetime of serving people’s eye health and vision needs. 50 years later I am as excited as ever to use my knowledge of vision to help my patients be more successful. For years I have given workshops and provided retreat seminars to parents, educators, patients, optometrists and other healthcare professionals about how better vision can change lives. Recently, to improve public awareness of Optometry’s role in learning, I began a Facebook Tribe called “Vision Aces”, and every day I post a mini visual secret that helps to improve learning skills. For 35 years I have given workshops about Visual Secrets for reading, writing, spelling, composition and math success to a wide array of audiences. My book transforms these workshops into a 12-week, step-by-step process to improve learning efficiency. I wrote this book to be able to reach more people around the world.
