Brendan Heneghan

关于作者

Brendan Heneghan is a 26 year-old novelist, poet, and journalist from Chicago, Illinois. He’s spent much of his twenties driving a grand total of 50,000 miles across the cornfields, forests, and deserts of North America. These cross-continental odysseys are fuel for his pen. Inspired by the upheavals of the 1960s and an array of existentialist philosophers, he incorporates these influences into his writing, having learned very young that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. Heneghan graduated from LSU with a political science degree in 2020. His debut novel, The Hard Road is based on a road trip he took with friends from Chicago to Los Angeles during the summer of 2020. With a sequel in the works, a poetry collection underway, and a plethora of essays on Medium, there is plenty more to come from this young writer. On occasion, he freelances for Chicago’s Northwest Side Press.
