Brian Kiteley is the author of three novels, The River Gods, Still Life With Insects, and I Know Many Songs, But I Cannot Sing, and two collections of fiction exercises, The 3 A.M. Epiphany and The 4 A.M. Breakthrough. He has recently finished two linked novels set in Crete in 1988, about a poet and a CIA case officer in love, with cameos by the Iranian Revolutionary Guard and a low-level al Qaeda operative.
