If ALICE THROUGH THE MULTIVERSE plays like a movie in your head, it's probably because Brian Trenchard-Smith has directed 42 films for cinema, video, and television, producing, writing or co-writing 12 of them. His cult favorites, Turkey Shoot, BMX Bandits, Dead End Drive In, Stunt Rock, The Siege of Firebase Gloria, The Man From Hong Kong have earned praise from Quentin Tarantino, and continue to be re-released on BluRay. His body of work, which frequently both celebrates and satirizes the standard tropes of various genres, has been honored at the Paris Cinema, Karlovy Vary, Melbourne, Brisbane and Toronto Film Festivals. He has been a judge at Fantastic Planet Science Fiction & Fantasy, and A Night of Horror Film Festivals and a jury member for the Ithaca Film Festival. In 2016 he received a Lifetime Achievement Award at the Fantaspoa International Fantastic Film Festival. He has presented over 50 cinema lectures for Trailers From Hell.com. As well as movies, the many "what if's" of History have been a life long fascination. ALICE THROUGH THE MULTIVERSE is his first novel. Originally published as The Headsman’s Daughter, this is the revised edition, retitled to better reflect its genre, with the addition of three new chapters, picking up from where the book ended. Expect the unexpected. An avid epee fencer, he lives in Oregon with his wife Byzantine historian Dr. Margaret Trenchard-Smith, and five hungry deer.
