Brianne Farley

Brianne Farley is an illustrator and picture book author. Growing up in Michigan, she spent most of her time in the woods, in Lake Michigan, drawing, or reading. After graduating from Macalester College with a degree in Creative Writing and Studio Art, she earned her MFA in Illustration from the Savannah College of Art and Design. After some years living in Brooklyn and working at Random House Children's Books, she now lives and works in her hometown in Michigan, where she spends most of her time in the woods, in Lake Michigan, drawing, or reading. Her editorial clients include The New York Times, McSweeney's, The Rumpus, and Junior Great Books.
