Britt Phoenix

Britt Phoenix is from Chilliwack, BC, Canada, and was raised in Rosedale, a farming community within Chilliwack. Her interests include camping, playing hockey, adventuring with her dogs, and enjoying good food. She has a passion for computers and is a self-taught graphic designer, writer, and web developer. She shares her mom's passion for Jadeite dishes and co-launched "firekinggrill dot com" in 2021 to share their knowledge with other collectors. In 2024, Britt and her mom Connie, launched their book, The Fire-King Jade-ite Collector’s Guide, a professionally designed reference, entertaining, and history book dedicated to Anchor Hocking Fire-King Jade-ite dishes. With over 700 pieces of Depression Glass (mostly Jadeite dishes) in their collection, Britt enjoys using her Jadeite dishes daily, and encourages other collectors to do the same. Through co-authoring The Fire-King Jade-ite Collector’s Guide, her goal is to help preserve the history of Jadeite dishes and help collectors get the most out of their Jadeite dishes. She hopes to inspire other collectors to use their dishes and create lasting memories in the kitchen and around the dinner table.
