Brittany Carmona-Holt

Brittany Carmona-Holt (aka The Birth Witch) is a full spec­trum doula, gifted Tarot reader, reproductive justice advocate, & motherhood photographer, who has worked as a home birth assistant to a community based midwife, and class facilitator in a community based doula training program. She authored of Tarot for Pregnancy: A Companion for Radical Magical Birthing Folks (Row House, 2022) and tarot deck by the same name (Row House, 2023.) Her purpose is to help reignite the cellular wisdom in pregnant, birthing, and post­partum folks so they may reconnect with their own innate, ancestral power during their reproductive experiences to promote safe, informed, expansive, and empowering experiences in pregnancy and birth, and has made a name for herself speaking with poetic honesty about her own experiences on the parenthood path. As a multi-disciplinary artist and, self-identified MILF, Carmona-Holt utilizes her photography, poetry, and prose to celebrate and integrate sexuality and parenthood through her lens as a bisexual, partnered, and polyamorous mother of two gender expansive kiddos with one more on the way. She lives out of her garden with her nesting partner and coven of cats in Grand Rapids, MI.
